Agenda/Minutes
  • Working Session – No Appointments (1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
  • Discussed maintenance needs for Murphy Court at Memorial Field.  Commission agreed that we should ask DPW to place the transfer request as the line item was originally planned for their budget under the “buildings” account.  
  • Reviewed, approved and signed April 7, 2010 meeting minutes.  
  • Reviewed, approved and signed November 3, 2010 meeting minutes.
  • Reviewed Rules and Regulations document.  Regan to incorporate Commission’s edits and forward to Don Lowe for review.

Commission discussed budget shortfalls and discussed alternatives available.  Wildman made the motion to submit a transfer request to move $700 from the Recreation (630) account to the Parks (650) account.  Motion seconded by Sidopoulos.  Vote: 3-0 in favor.  Wildman made a second motion for Parks and Recreation to request an additional $250 for safety equipment at the Town Beach.  The Commission agreed to allow Regan to order the materials highlighted on the spreadsheet of equipment needs.  Wildman made the motion that the Commission would grant Regan permission to order up to the allocated $200 in FY10 for safety equipment at the Town Beach.  Seconded by Sidopoulos.  Vote: 3-0 in favor.
